New web press installation on schedule…

We are pleased to report that the installation of the second Goss M600 press is all going to schedule. We are due to start print testing in the next few days and look forward to being able to offer more than double our previous web capacity.

Head of manufacturing at Eclipse, David Weiss and his team have being working closely with the experts from Goss to ensure the installation goes without a hitch and more importantly, doesn’t effect current production.

The new faster press is positioned alongside the existing web press and Scheffer inline finishing system, this not only maximizes the space in Plant 2 but also allows for managers and crews to move easily between presses.

The Scheffer inline finishing system allows us to produce a wealth of Press Finished Products as section manager Paul Wale explains… ‘The possibilities are literally endless, I’ve been working with web and inline finishing for over 20 years and I’m still finding new combinations and product configurations - it is an amazingly effective process and means the work comes off the line completed, straight into the box for delivery to the customer saving time and money’.
