More capacity on its way…

We recently announced that we would be doubling our web capacity with the installation of a second Goss M600 press. We are pleased to be able to report that the work is all going to plan and the new press should be rolling very early in the New Year.
David Weiss our Head of Manufacturing, who has being working closely with MD Simon Moore throughout the whole project explains; ‘the logistics of moving and installing heavy plant like this is never easy but we put together a detailed plan that anticipated most of the potential problems and the teams are executing it very well…’
The new press required the acquisition of an additional production facility ‘Plant 3’, which is adjacent to the two existing sites and houses all the stitching lines along with other finishing and distribution areas. David continues ‘…setting up all the finishing in the new Plant 3 first then allowed us the space we needed to install the press without any disruption to existing workload which was vitally important to the business’.
