Eclipse doubles web capacity

In response to sustained growth we have doubled our web capacity with the installation of a second Goss M600 press. We are pleased to announce that the increased capability will come online early in the New Year.
Exceptional service levels matched to the consistent delivery of quality print and innovative press finished products has seen demand for our web capacity grow exponentially in the last few years.
Eclipse MD Simon Moore explains… ‘We are in the fortunate position that over 50% of the new presses capacity will come from existing work. Put simply, it means we can now do even more of what our customers want.’
The new press also means that we will now occupy three adjacent units on our Riley Road site - Plant 2 will house both web presses and the inline finishing with the stitching lines moving into the new Plant 3. The inline finishing for press finished products can now be maximized to service both web units with only a minimal increase in staffing levels, helping to keep our overheads down.
The new web press combined with the existing web and two B1 Cutstar units takes our overall capacity in excess of a million A4 pages an hour.
