"PDQ" lives up to its name!!
In response to an ever increasing amount of print enquiries received within the business and our customer survey highlighting a potential problem with a small % of quotes being delayed beyond their deadline
Eclipse Colour has invested in an "intelligent" quick estimating system called PDQ.
Working closely with PDQ developer John Roche, MD of Haybrooke, Eclipse is now using PDQ to produce 50% of its enquiries on PDQ.
By the New Year this figure will have risen to 90%.
PDQ allows Eclipse to produce its print quotes in a fraction of the time that it took to do on its current estimating system.
Eclipse Colour MD Simon Moore commented "PDQ certainly lives up to its name, it is pretty dam quick. We monitor our response to enquiries on a daily basis, and report on it weekly at management meetings and we had noticed that we were struggling to handle the increased amount of print enquiries and tenders that were being sent in by our customers and prospects. It is essential that we get prices back to our customers and prospects as and when they want them. Without a quote we cannot win an order. We pride ourselves in our Customer Service and we were starting to produce a small % of quotes beyond their required deadline. We came across John Roche of Haybrooke and his quick estimating package PDQ and we were impressed. We have worked closely with John over the last few months and now have a quick estimating system we can use with confidence. Since running with PDQ alongside our current estimating system we have had no late quotes for over 2 months".
