History
Eclipse are a privately owned limited company, established in 1999 having moving to the current purpose built location in 2001.
Right from day-one we’ve made a commitment to the latest in pre-press, press and post-press equipment and technologies to ensure we always lead the way in our sector.
In 2004, to compliment the 10 colour and 12 colour Heidelberg B1 ‘cut-star’ presses, we commissioned the 16pp Heidelberg M600 Web press, complete with the comprehensive Scheffer ‘inline’ finishing system allowing for complex folded and glued products to be finished direct from the press, saving both production time and money.
Joining the BPIF in 2006 provides us with a first class advisory service and support for health & safety, personnel and many other industry related issues. We also commissioned Vision in Print (ViP) to aid us with ‘lean manufacturing’ techniques which are now established throughout the company and drive continuous business improvements.
The business now spans two adjacent production facilities in Kettering, Northamptonshire – ideally placed for motorway connections to the whole of the UK.
Managing Director, Simon Moore has lead the company forward to the current position, demonstrating sustained ‘year-on-year’ growth and turnover in excess of £16 million - achieved through a combination of flexibility in press format, comprehensive finishing capabilities, production units running 24/7 and above all an honest and transparent approach to client services.
2009 sees a wide-ranging rebrand of the business both in visual identity and company approach to traditional print based skills (for which we are renowned) and broader ‘solutions’ based workflow, meeting the demands of clients looking to source from ‘single point’ suppliers with wide ranging expertise in all print production disciplines, direct mail, multi-media solutions and cost-effective distribution to market.
